Please tell us about yourself in the context of your software and give a brief intro to the software.

Even at 16, I wanted to be an inventor. My teachers told me that wasn’t a real job, years later I realized it’s simply called being an entrepreneur. I’ve always been drawn to solving coordination challenges and creating things from scratch.<div><br></div><div>I studied mechanical engineering, taught myself programming, built a ticketing system, and even organized Germany’s largest pool party. These experiences showed me how fundamental bookings are in everyday life and how little existing tools adapt to real-world complexity.</div><div><br></div><div>That insight led to anny: a modern, highly flexible booking platform for desk sharing, room bookings, event management, and more—all in one system.</div>

What was the core reason behind developing this software?

We wanted to create a solution that would allow people to book anything, anytime, anywhere.<div><br></div><div>In doing so, we identified four fundamental problems:</div><div><br></div><div>- Unused resources: rooms, desks, parking spaces, or equipment remain empty/unused.</div><div>- Complex reality: every organization has different processes that existing tools do not reflect.</div><div>- Fragmented solutions: many teams use isolated solutions, Excel, or in-house developments.</div><div>- Difficult collaboration: especially when external guests, partners, or customers are involved.</div><div><br></div><div>Our mission: to make resources usable efficiently and enable organizations to make everything shareable and bookable.</div>

How is your software different from other alternatives available in the market? How does it benefit your customers?

We operate an open roadmap, talk to customers on a weekly basis, and stay deeply involved in the product as a team — I personally still jump into the support chat on a regular basis. Our focus is always on what truly matters for people and what simplifies their workflow. To keep pace with new technology and evolving requirements, we ship new features every two weeks and continuously refine the experience based on real-world feedback.

Where will you see your software in the next 10 years, and what are your future plans for that?

Our long-term goal is ambitious:&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 0.9375rem;">anny will become the platform that comes to mind when it comes to booking management—the Amazon experience for resources.</span><div><br><div><span style="font-size: 0.9375rem;">Whether it's:</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 0.9375rem;">- your workplace in the office</span></div><div>- your internal IT device</div><div>- the city's sports hall</div><div>- or your weekend yoga class</div><div><br></div><div>anny should be available everywhere. We are strongly focused on network effects, because people already use anny at university, at work, and in their free time and that's exactly where the enormous growth potential lies.</div></div>

What is the biggest challenge that you have faced, and how did you overcome it to make your software successful?
