Very Positive Experience with Paychex Flex

My overall experience with Paychex Flex has been very positive. We rely on it for payroll processing and handling multi-state taxes. The local tax lookup feature is particularly useful when onboarding and setting up new employees.

Better but far from the best

“Running payroll through Paychex Flex is straightforward since all the key functions are built in. We use Time & Attendance along with Benefits Administration, so employee hours and deductions flow directly into payroll automatically. I am able to complete payroll for a 100-person team in under an hour including reports. However, the overall functionality isn’t as strong as other platforms. The reporting is also very limited, with exports only available in PDF format.

Paychex works very well for smaller nonprofit organisations, but once the staff size grows, it can become challenging to correct timecardsespecially when there are multiple errors to fix.

Great Solution For Small Companies

Paychex Flex is an excellent choice for small businesses. The interface, time clock settings, and employee self-service portal are all very easy to use. It also saves a lot of time by reducing the need to search for information or print pay stubs.

This HR and payroll system is easy for both HR staff and employees to use. The interface is very intuitive. Employees can quickly update their banking details and view their PTO and pay stubs without any hassle. It’s also simple for office staff to make updates when needed.

While the Paychex application effectively handles payroll and HR processes, I feel it could benefit from a redesign to improve the user experience and modernize the interface. On the positive side, I appreciate having all my financial information in one place, including access to my pay stubs, vacation time, and tax forms. Additionally, the customer service feature allows me to submit help tickets for any concerns I may have.
