I don't have to worry about losing data
Our interned connection isn't always stable, so I was worried about losing tracking data. It hasn`t been an issue since WorkTime keeps tracking even when a computer is offline. More integrations would be helpful, though.
Privacy was important to me
It's the main tool we use to track time. I often have confidential client documents or personal messages open, so I didn't want anything taking screenshots or recording what I type. WorkTime doesn't do that, which was a big reason I was comfortable using it.
A useful tool that could use more filtering
Options after using it for a while, I know where to find what I need, and I like how it works. The only thing I'm missing is more advanced filtering. A way to filter employees by job type would make it easier to use.
Helps us save money
When I checked the reports, I noticed that some tools were barely being used, even though we had licenses for everyone. We were able to cut some cost.
Good foe tracking productivity
I was happy with it from the start, and I still am. My company doesn't micromanage or invade employees' privacy. I simply see the data and understand who's working and who's not. It has also helped me identify when an employee is overworking and starting to burn out.
Convenient and Reliable
It gave me a clear picture of my work schedule. There's a lot of information, but it's easy understand
Makes billing much easier
I work in billing, so it's easy for me to see how long everyone has worked and what they have been working on. It also works well because not everyone follows the same schedule or has the some tasks and offline meetings
My overall experience with Worktime
My overall experience with Worktime has been positive. It has solved many of the challenges we were facing, and the support team has always responded quickly. It also runs well on older computers, which has been helpful for our team.
I would…
I would rate WorkTime 4 of 5. The only issue I have encountered is how productivity is measured for document-based work. When employees spent time reviewing or analysing documents, there is often very little mouse or keyboard activity, which can result in idle time being recorded. Adjusting the idle timer to five minutes in the profile setting resolved the issue for us. Aside from that, WorkTime has been a valuable tool for managing productivity.
A solid choice
Best bang for your buck. It's intuitive. It's easy to track time both in the office and while working remotely. We were able to get everyone up and running without much effort.
The built-in AI is a lifesaver
My devs and I found it super easy to use and it's priced pretty well too. The built-in AI came in handy. You basically just set up what counts as productive vs unproductive activity and you also list specific apps or sites if you need to. It even suggests categories for new stuff which saved us a ton of manual work and helps keep everything organized as the team switches between different tools.
Stays on top of things
It helps us catch distractions or just see when someone is sitting idle, which really helps us stay on top of everything. I actually asked them about adding a half day off feature and they promised to add it. Its nice to have that kind of support
I didn't even notice how much I was slacking off until it started flagging all my tiny breaks
Honestly, I didn't realize how often I get distracted. This app caught all those small breaks I wasn't even playing attention to, and it made me rethink how I work.
Super easy
Haven't had any issues so far. It's super easy to use and convenient. I like that it focuses on real productivity insights instead of tracking everything you do, which makes it feel more and useful
My experience with the software has been positive
If something isn't clear in the documentation, the support team usually responds quickly and helps resolve the issue. It's easy to get started, and the interface is straightforward. It has helped us better understand team productivity.
