Why SoftwareWorld Chooses Loom
"Teams that need to explain things quickly without scheduling a meeting often find Loom very useful. Recording a short video instead of writing a long email saves time and reduces back-and-forth communication. It works well for async team communication, especially when members are spread across different time zones. Feedback, walkthroughs, and updates become easier to share. That said, businesses that require formal documentation or structured workflows may find video messages alone are not always enough."

Worth !
Loom has been a really good option for me. I enjoy using it straight from my phone, and it’s super easy to use. The only downside is that with the free version, I can’t download my videos. Still, being able to quickly record and share videos makes it really convenient.
Positive Review
I’ve been using Loom for about six months, and I highly recommend it. You can record videos anytime, get notifications when they’re watched or commented on, and easily share them by uploading or sending a link. Some employers even ask for Loom videos for introductions when applying. I love that it’s very user-friendly and that I can log in and record using my personal account like Gmail or Yahoo.
Loom makes everything so much easier!
Loom has been a total game-changer for me. Over the past three years, it’s become my go-to tool for saving time and staying productive. I really love being able to quickly share videos with my key account customers and my team—it makes everything so much easier. I use it every single day and honestly can’t imagine working without it!
Best For Educators!
Loom has been amazing to use. As soon as you finish recording, a link is automatically copied so you can quickly share it with others. It’s very intuitive and requires almost no training. Best of all, it’s free forever for educators, but it doesn’t feel like a stripped-down product. It’s so good that we’d probably pay for it if it weren’t free.
A Must-Have Tool for Teams
Loom has been fantastic for me. I honestly can’t imagine working without it now. It’s such a useful tool, really well-designed and easy to use. I love how it helps me clearly show my ideas to my team, and it saves a ton of time in the process.
Perfect for Remote Tech Guidance
My experience with Loom has been really positive, and my clients have found it incredibly helpful when I send them video explanations along with instructions. I work remotely with clients who create podcasts, many of whom aren’t very tech-savvy. Loom allows me to walk them through systems, software, and processes in real time, so they can watch at their own pace and refer back whenever they need to understand how to use the tools properly.
Simple and Effective Screen Recording
Loom makes recording your screen and creating videos really easy. It saves time by letting you share content with colleagues that they can refer back to anytime. Both the free and paid versions are great, depending on what you need. I also love having the option to record both the screen and webcam, or just one of them.
Clean, Simple, and Effective
Loom is hands down one of the best tools out there. I love how clean the interface is, the editing tools are super intuitive, and the final videos always turn out great.
Quick and Easy Recording in This Tool!
I use Loom to share progress demos of the applications I’m developing with my team, and also to show any errors I encounter during development. The browser extension makes starting a recording super fast, and it automatically generates a shareable link once the recording is done. I also like the comment and emoji reaction features, and the video player is really smooth and easy to use.
Helpful for Remote Learning
Loom has been a really valuable tool for teaching. My students gave great feedback—they liked being able to see me while I shared resources on screen. It made following instructions much easier for them. I especially enjoyed using it for asynchronous teaching, as I could easily screen share and add voiceovers to provide guidance and support whenever students needed it.
Better option for startups
Loom has been fantastic for startups, helping reduce the constant back-and-forth between team members. It’s often a great alternative to meetings, and clients love being able to revisit demos whenever they want. I can easily re-record if the first take isn’t perfect, and onboarding new employees, especially during Covid it has been very simple and helpful. I really enjoy using it and appreciated that it stayed free during 2020. I fell in love with how easy it is to use, the click animations, and the little self-video in the corner that adds a personal touch.
Really Handy and Easy to Use
I absolutely love Loom. It’s an amazing tool. One of the best features is being able to record directly from your phone with the app and instantly get a shareable link. Making a personal video for a client or colleague is super simple. just a couple of clicks to start recording. The uploads are incredibly fast, and everything feels smooth and effortless.
It's great One!
Loom is a great software, but my first experience through the affiliate invite was really frustrating. It made me almost want to delete my account. That said, the tool itself is very useful for teams. I think it would be better if the free plan clearly said “free forever,” had a popup showing which plan you’re on, and made it easier to delete the account entirely. I love how easy it is to set up a workspace and start recording right away, the branding options are nice, and having a free trial is a big plus.
Making Voice Notes Super Easy
I discovered Loom while helping an intern with her onboarding, and it completely changed how I share information. Before, colleagues would record their screens on their phones and send videos via WhatsApp—a long process. Loom makes it so much easier. Explaining tricky processes is simple: just record, share the link, and that’s it. It’s fast, effective, and really straightforward.
Super Easy!!!!!!
Loom is a fast and simple screen recording tool that makes explaining tricky things so much easier, especially since my team is spread across the country. It’s a lifesaver for showing complicated software bugs. I can quickly see what’s happening and reproduce issues without long explanations. I use it more than any other Chrome extension. Recording is super quick and intuitive, you can capture your screen and even your face, and sharing a video is as easy as sending a link.
