Powerful System with Room for Improvement
We switched to HENO because we wanted a strong EMR system along with their billing service. The platform itself is robust, offering customizable intake forms and evaluation templates, multiple data points for detailed reporting, clear fee schedules, a fully functional fax feature, and group email and text options. However, we ran into some challenges with the billing service—they were polite, but sometimes I still had to handle a lot myself, and there were a few glitches, like reports being sent incorrectly by different therapists. While it’s a solid system overall, these issues made it harder to rely fully on the billing side, which ultimately led us to consider switching.

Efficient System with Support That Makes a Difference
The system is excellent, and even though our transition was tough, our onboarding specialist was amazing—so patient and reassuring as we learned the new setup. It’s made everything much more efficient, saving us hours that used to be wasted on redundant tasks. The only downside was that the training felt a bit clunky at times, with modules not always in a clear order, but overall it’s been a huge improvement.
