Simple but Effective for Small Projects
I really liked the timer and the stop-and-continue feature, which made it easy to record and track project details. The tool was straightforward to use and integrate, and it even helped with budgeting for potential clients. While it’s not super versatile, it worked well for handling smaller projects and keeping everything organized.

Flexible and Powerful, but Recent Changes Are Noticeable
I’ve been a big fan of Orchard since 1997 because of its flexibility and the ability to customize nearly everything. As a lab consultant, I’ve implemented and purchased multiple Orchard LIS systems since staff find it easy and quick to learn. Lately, though, with new ownership, pricing has increased significantly for interfaces, licenses, and service. Invoices lack details even after multiple requests, customer service seems less responsive, and data mining isn’t as strong as before. While it used to be very pro-customer, these changes make me consider exploring other LIS options if value and service don’t improve
