Cloud Inventory Software for Total Visibility
"Manufacturing businesses often turn to Katana Cloud Inventory when they need better control over production and stock tracking. It works well for small to mid-sized makers who want to keep an eye on materials, orders, and inventory without dealing with messy spreadsheets. Teams benefit from having order and production data in one visible place. That said, larger operations with complex manufacturing workflows may find the platform limiting as their needs grow."

Our experience with Katana has been excellent! The service team has been very helpful, allowing us to accomplish everything we need efficiently. As a company new to inventory and order management systems, we tested several web-based tools, and Katana stood out as the most user-friendly. Its clean and intuitive interface made getting started quick and stress-free. While there are some features and reporting capabilities—especially related to customer information—that haven’t been released yet, the support team has been very responsive, guiding us through workarounds, and we are eagerly awaiting upcoming enhancements. Overall, Katana is a reliable platform with a strong commitment to improving its features.
Overall, I’m very pleased with Katana. Even though the price feels a bit high for a small business like mine, the value it provides makes it worth the investment. Adding new orders is quick and straightforward, and the visual coloured charts instantly show whether all necessary resources are available, even when managing dozens of pending orders. The platform is extremely easy to use, with a clean, uncluttered interface that keeps everything well-organized and easy to glance over. Inventory changes are reflected immediately across all open orders, ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout. The only minor limitation is the inability to track inventory by individual units instead of total weight, which is specific to my business needs. However, the support team has already added this feature request to their wishlist, so I’m confident it will be addressed in a future update.
