Why SoftwareWorld Chooses Domotz
"Network monitoring is where Domotz tends to stand out for managed service providers and IT teams. It gives teams remote visibility over devices, making it easier to track issues without being on-site. This works well for businesses managing multiple client networks or office locations from one place. That said, smaller businesses with just a single basic network may find the feature set more than they actually need day to day."

Easy to Deploy with Powerful Network Visibility
Overall, the experience has been good. The system is easy to use and can be deployed on an average client network in about 30 minutes. Domotz provides reliable 24/7 visibility into client systems, captures detailed network topology, and allows remote management of switches that previously required onsite access. It offers strong functionality at a very competitive price compared to tools like Auvik, with pricing that scales well as needs grow. However, setting up virtualized Domotz agents—especially on Hyper-V—can be inconsistent and may require additional Linux-level configuration on newer virtual networking setups.
Easy Deployment and MSP-Friendly Monitoring
Overall, the platform has been easy to use and quick to deploy, especially when compared to more complex tools that can be difficult to manage at scale for MSPs. The templates, prebuilt monitors, and reporting features are strong and help save time. The main limitation is the inability to manually adjust network maps, although this feature is expected to be added in the future.
A Reliable and Supportive Monitoring Partner for MSPs
They have truly been a great partner to our MSP, and it genuinely feels like they are on our side. As a managed service provider, we rely on Domotz to discover, monitor, and manage our customers’ infrastructure, and it has made this process incredibly easy and efficient for us. Deployment is quick and straightforward, saving both us and our customers time and cost.
An Essential Network Visibility Tool That’s Hard to Break
I make a living fixing networks and keeping them running smoothly, and having a simple tool that can reach out and touch every device across every VLAN—while clearly identifying what each device is—makes you incredibly valuable to any organization. Domotz does exactly that. It automatically identifies many devices, eliminating the guesswork and saving a huge amount of time during troubleshooting and audits.
