We have made a cloud based time clock that fulfils 3 primary functions.
- Very quickly and effectively records when a person arrives and leaves their workplace.
- Records what task or job a person is working on while they are in the workplace.
- Records can be easily exported to any accounting software; automating the process of knowing how much time to pay employees for.
We do so using well designed and robust software built on top of reliable well established platforms (such as Android). We have also designed a Portal that makes looking at and working with so much tedious data a breeze. We have automated every aspect of the process whilst working closely with actual businesses and users to make sure our product caters to their every need.
The result has been very encouraging with the accountants in these companies eagerly following up to find out when the next Timeclock.Kiwi kiosk will be rolled out to their other branches.
The problem with time clocks is that they are solving a mild inconvenience for most businesses, not a critical business problem, so there has not been a lot of thought or hard work put into making one. That means that despite there being dozens of time clocks out there they are all difficult to use. The few which have a slightly better user experience are incredibly expensive which immediately puts anyone off from using them.
We have solved all these issues and are able to do so for a fraction of the price of any other solution. Timeclock.Kiwi is incredibly efficient to run which means we have minimal ongoing operating costs and so we can offer it for a very small price. This does however mean that we have to onboard a very large number of businesses to be profitable, but considering that globally the number of businesses who need a solution like this numbers in the hundreds of millions it is quite feasible that such a scale can be achieved.
