Why SoftwareWorld Chooses Datagate
"Telecom resellers and managed service providers often find Datagate useful for handling billing and usage management in one place. Keeping track of customer invoices, usage data, and recurring charges can get complicated fast, and Datagate helps bring some order to that process. It works well for teams managing telecom billing at scale without building everything from scratch. That said, businesses outside the telecom space or those with very basic billing needs may find it more than necessary."

Smooth Onboarding and Easy Invoicing with Room to Improve
Our experience so far has been extremely positive, and we’re excited about the potential of this partnership. The onboarding process was seamless, and our project manager provided excellent support throughout, making it easy to take over invoicing and update customer records efficiently. Generating invoices is one of the simplest processes we’ve encountered, which has made reviewing and approving billing items far more convenient. However, the ConnectWise integration can be slow and inconsistent at times, occasionally causing delays in syncing CRM updates with the billing platform. While manual syncing resolves the issue, it can be frustrating. We’d also appreciate more flexibility and options when sending or re-sending invoices. Overall, the platform has been a strong addition despite these minor challenges.
Time-Saving Billing Platform with Strong Long-Term Value
Datagate has helped us save a significant amount of time while delivering clear, traditional-style telephony bills that our customers appreciate, and our vendors are happy working within the platform as well. We’ve been using Datagate for years and have seen continuous improvements in our business processes. Our main reason for switching was to automate telephony and VoIP billing by syncing invoice data with ConnectWise, eliminating the need for manual monthly data entry that wasn’t scalable. Datagate also simplified several compliance reporting requirements that previously took hours to prepare, saving us considerable time each month. The support team has been excellent, regularly meeting with us to discuss new workflows and improvements to our VoIP billing. While there were some early challenges during the initial ConnectWise integration, those issues were resolved years ago, and the system has been running smoothly ever since.
