"Keeping accounts and systems secure is a real concern for businesses of all sizes, and WatchGuard AuthPoint helps address that by adding multi-factor authentication to the login process. This makes it harder for unauthorized users to access company systems, even if passwords are compromised. It works well for teams that need secure remote access without a complicated setup. However, smaller businesses with very basic security needs or limited IT support may find the management side takes some getting used to initially."

I’ve been using AuthPoint for about five years, and it’s been solid for managing data security. The strong MFA features, full cloud management, and quick support from WatchGuard make it really dependable. I do wish there were AI features in the WatchGuard Cloud portal to help with configuration and troubleshooting. Relying mainly on a mobile device instead of email can be a bit tricky, and the setup can feel a little complicated at first, but overall it’s a good and reliable platform.
Setting up AuthPoint was a bit involved at first, but it’s definitely worth the time. Once it’s in place, there’s no ongoing administration needed for users. I really like the single sign-on that integrates with our Active Directory, letting passwords be managed according to our policy. Occasionally, if a user changes their phone, a token needs to be reissued, but it’s a quick and easy process.
