Excellent Staff Management and Invoicing with a Positive Overall Experience
What I liked most about Pro Est is its strong staff management capabilities and the high-quality, productive invoicing system, which made cost tracking much easier. The software truly supports efficient workflow and ensures smooth operations. The only area that could use improvement is some of the Pro Est tools themselves, and I hope to provide guidance in the future to help enhance them. Overall, my experience has been very positive—I loved nearly everything about the platform. It delivered exceptional results, and the entire process was smooth and extraordinary. Comprehensive Vendor Management System with Strong Capabilities and Some Scheduling Limitations
The platform offers robust features for vendor management, budgeting, change events, cost integration, document management, submittal processes, and RFI workflows, making it a very capable solution for managing vendors and clients. Overall, I would rate the product 8 out of 10 for user functionality. Some areas could be improved, such as the multiple separate modules compared to the simpler single-page layout in the 2017 version, the lack of a comprehensive home page displaying full client contact details, frequent 404 messages, and occasional system downtime. The scheduling module in particular is challenging, as it is difficult for clients and vendors to interpret visually. Additionally, some modules like estimating are rarely used. Despite these drawbacks, the platform remains one of the better systems I’ve worked with, alongside JE Edwards, Sage, and Primavera.
