"Medical practices often turn to PracticeSuite when they need a better way to handle patient billing and scheduling without juggling multiple disconnected tools. It works well for small to mid-sized clinics that want clearer visibility into their revenue cycle and day-to-day operations. Front desk staff and billing teams tend to find it easier to stay organized. That said, larger healthcare organizations with more complex workflows may find it limiting over time."

My overall experience with PracticeSuite has been excellent, and I would highly recommend it to offices seeking a reliable practice management system. Our billing company doesn’t provide PM software, so we always align with the systems our clients use, and PracticeSuite has proven to be very effective in that regard. We particularly appreciate the robust reporting features and the user-friendly interface. Uploading paper EOBs, managing payments, and handling rejections or denials is straightforward and efficient. Some limitations include the EHR integration, as many providers prefer different EHRs, and the inability to attach medical records to worker’s comp claims—a feature other PM systems offer for electronic submission. Despite this, PracticeSuite remains a solid, well-rounded platform that simplifies billing and administrative workflows.
Our experience with PracticeSuite has been very positive, particularly due to their incredible tech support, which is always responsive and courteous. In our office, guarantors initially had difficulty identifying which patients had outstanding balances, but PracticeSuite’s team worked closely with us to refine this process. As a result, statements are being paid much faster, saving significant time and costs associated with paper statements, while also improving patient payment rates. The platform makes sending statements, checking eligibility, and processing payments extremely efficient, and it offers a wide range of helpful features. There are occasional challenges, such as insurance information duplicating when changed in Elation, or the need for multiple credit card entries for patients with multiple accounts. Some of the interface graphics can be less intuitive at first, but once familiar, the system becomes very user-friendly and highly effective.
