Why SoftwareWorld Chooses Navisworks

"Construction and engineering teams often rely on Navisworks when working on large-scale projects that involve multiple design files from different sources. It helps bring those files together so teams can review the full project in one place, which is especially useful during planning and coordination stages. Project clash detection is a common reason teams find it valuable. That said, smaller firms or those just starting with 3D workflows may find the learning curve a bit steep."

Great for Sharing Models with Everyone

After using this tool for more than ten years, it has proven to be one of the best options for easily sharing models and views with people who don’t have a technical background. It handles model federation well, supports importing many different file types, and makes coordination much smoother. I especially like how accessible it is for non-technical users, allowing them to view and understand models without difficulty. That said, importing models can sometimes be slow, and the software may crash during the import process. Even with those issues, it remains a very useful and reliable tool overall.

A Tool I Enjoy Using Every Day

Overall, it’s a really solid tool and one I genuinely enjoy using on a daily basis. Navisworks works extremely well with models and feels very practical and convenient in everyday workflows. Most of the time it runs smoothly without any issues. On rare occasions, there can be some minor graphical glitches, but they don’t happen often and usually aren’t a big problem.
