Why SoftwareWorld Chooses EpicCare
"Healthcare organizations often turn to EpicCare because it helps manage patient records, appointments, and clinical workflows in one place. Care teams can access the information they need quickly, which matters a lot in fast-moving medical environments. It works well for mid-to-large healthcare providers who handle high patient volumes daily. That said, smaller clinics or independent practices may find the system more complex than what their day-to-day operations actually require."

Excellent Experience with EpicCare
My overall experience with Epic has been excellent, especially due to its detailed functionality and strong security suited for the medical field. I appreciate the level of customization it offers, including personalized DAR reports, login screens, and background settings. One drawback, however, is the media handling process, as scanned items cannot be deleted right away and must instead be marked for chart correction.
Epic User Experience
I used Epic in my previous roles with Yale and Hartford Healthcare, and overall the versions I worked with performed well. The ability to integrate multiple practices made it easier to collect and review patient information in one place. However, a limitation I noticed is that when certain practices lack specific Epic modules, sharing information between them becomes restricted.
