Why SoftwareWorld Chooses SimScale

"Engineering and product teams often turn to SimScale when they need to run simulation-based testing without investing in expensive on-premise hardware. Because it works through a browser, teams can collaborate on projects without being tied to a specific workstation. It suits industries where testing designs early in development helps avoid costly physical prototypes. That said, businesses with very basic design needs or limited technical expertise may find the learning curve challenging at first."

Intuitive Simulation Tool with Helpful Support

Using SimScale has been a really positive experience. The platform is intuitive, and I’ve found it easy to pick up, especially with the helpful guidance from their team. Editing models in CAD and performing operations like subtracting objects is straightforward, which saves a lot of time. Sometimes runs fail or time out, but being able to ask questions directly makes it easy to get back on track. Overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly tool that has made simulations much simpler.

User-Friendly Simulation Platform with Powerful Features

Simscale has been a great experience so far. The interface is easy to use and has improved over time, making it simple to find study variables—from Cutting Planes to Point Selection for Parameters. The ‘Core’ system allows rapid simulations for large problems, and the automatic settings make it very user-friendly. I also appreciate the wide material selection for structural analysis. Simulation estimates can sometimes be off, and more CAD operations—like splitting faces instead of entire bodies—would be helpful. Even so, my experience has been excellent, and I haven’t felt the need to explore other products.
