About GIFQ

GIFQ is payout infrastructure for platforms that pay a lot of people small amounts. One integration replaces the four or five supplier connections most teams end up maintaining, and it covers everything around the payout rather than just the send.

The problem it solves. Paying individuals breaks once the amounts get small and the countries add up. A $5 payout costs more in fees than it's worth. A large share of recipients have no bank account you could send to anyway, and some of those who do would rather not use it for a few dollars. So platforms build it themselves: a couple of gift card suppliers, a rewards vendor, maybe a wallet API. Each one has its own catalog format, its own quirks, and its own way of failing at the worst possible time. Then someone reconciles all of it at month end.

How it works. You fund a balance and send through whichever method fits. Bulk upload handles one-off campaigns and prize runs with no engineering involved. The API automates payouts inside your product. Hosted links cover people who don't have an account on your platform. You either send a specific reward or send a link and let the person choose from what's available in their country, which is usually where redemption rates move. Delivery emails, FX and the redemption flow are handled on our side, and webhooks tell your system about delivery, redemption and failures without polling. Everything reconciles into one ledger regardless of how many suppliers sit behind it. There's a sandbox so your team can build against real responses before anything goes to production.

Capabilities. 5,000+ gift cards, payment cards, subscriptions and more across 100+ countries. No recipient bank account required. No minimum payout, so a couple of dollars works. Instant delivery with no manual fulfilment step. Branded redemption pages and emails, so it reads as your product paying your user. Budgets, approvals and role-based access. Real-time status per payout and unredeemed balance tracking.

Who uses it. Micro-task and crowdwork platforms paying users a few dollars a day. Marketplaces paying sellers and freelancers. Data labeling operations paying annotators across Asia, Africa and Latin America. Survey panels running incentives in dozens of countries. Reward, referral and loyalty programmes. Affiliate networks where much of the publisher base earns under $50 a month. Esports and gaming for prize distribution. HR and employment platforms handling bonuses and stipends. The person who usually finds us is an engineer or ops lead who already built payouts in-house and doesn't want to maintain it anymore.

Business value. Fees stop eating the payout, so paying small amounts becomes viable at all. Recipients who previously had no usable option get one, which cuts support load and unclaimed balances. Engineering time goes back to the product instead of supplier maintenance. Finance closes the month against one ledger. And giving people a choice rather than a fixed reward tends to lift redemption, which is the metric that decides whether a payout programme works.

Where it came from. We run a known B2C gift card business in Lithuania. GIFQ started as the internal layer that made a dozen supplier integrations manageable, and platforms we worked with asked whether they could use it to pay their own users. Because we operate on the supply side ourselves, we sit closer to the catalog than platforms reselling someone else's.

Each category combines the selected software category, its category-specific description, and the features assigned to that category.

Employee Recognition Software 6 selected features Open category ↗ ⌄

GIFQ is the reward layer behind employee recognition programmes. You handle the recognition, we handle what the person actually receives. Once a team spans more than one country, this breaks fast: a different reward vendor per region, gift cards that don't work where half the team lives, and finance chasing four supplier reports at month end. A $25 spot bonus can't justify a wire or a payroll line. One integration covers 5,000+ gift cards, payment cards and subscriptions across 100+ countries, and the employee picks what they want instead of getting a card they can't use. Send in bulk for an awards cycle, through the API off a recognition event, or with a hosted link. Redemption pages and emails carry your branding. Budgets, approvals and real-time redemption reporting keep managers and finance in one place. Used by people teams running recognition in-house, and by recognition platforms that want the reward layer handled rather than built.

Employee Engagement Software 4 selected features Open category ↗ ⌄

GIFQ is the reward layer behind employee engagement programmes. You run the engagement, we handle what lands in the person's hands. Engagement work generates a constant stream of small payouts: survey completion incentives, wellness challenge rewards, milestone and anniversary gifts, learning completions, referral bonuses, team spot rewards. Once your people span more than one country, each of those needs a different vendor, and half the gift cards don't work where a chunk of the team lives. A $20 wellness reward can't justify payroll or a wire. One integration covers 5,000+ gift cards, payment cards and subscriptions across 100+ countries, and the employee chooses what they want. That choice is the part that matters here, since a reward someone can't use in their country undoes the engagement it was meant to create. Send in bulk for a programme cycle, through the API to fire automatically when someone completes a survey or hits a milestone, or with a hosted link. Redemption pages and emails carry your branding. Budgets, approvals and role-based access keep it controlled, and real-time redemption reporting tells you what people actually claimed rather than what you sent. Used by people teams running engagement in-house, and by engagement platforms that want the reward layer handled as infrastructure rather than built.
