Why SoftwareWorld Chooses EROAD
"Fleet operators and transport businesses often turn to EROAD when they need better visibility over their vehicles and drivers. Tracking locations, managing compliance, and keeping an eye on fuel usage becomes much easier when everything is available in one place. Fleet compliance management is where the software tends to stand out, particularly for businesses operating in regulated environments. That said, smaller operations with just a few vehicles may find the platform more than they actually need."

Useful Tracking Features with Growing Cost Concerns
The system offers solid functionality and does a good job overall, especially when the eRoad GPS data is up to date, as it makes locating trucks much easier. That said, there are times when the truck location can lag by several hours, which reduces its reliability when real-time tracking is needed. Like many tools, the cost has continued to rise over time, and the monthly pricing is becoming harder to justify. Getting timely support during issues can also be challenging. While the platform still provides value, improvements in GPS accuracy, pricing, and support responsiveness would make the experience much stronger.
Reliable ELD Solution with Excellent Tracking and Support
What really stands out for me is how helpful the IFTA and IRP reporting is, along with the accurate fuel mileage tracking that makes record-keeping much easier. I also appreciate how the Ehubo clearly shows how much driving time I have left before a break or the end of the day, which is extremely useful while on the road. When I first received the unit, I needed some guidance during setup, and customer service was outstanding—responsive, patient, and genuinely helpful. Even before purchasing, the sales representative was friendly and informative without being pushy, which I respected. The hardware installation itself was straightforward, and once you learn the interface, the driver experience is simple with very little daily input required. While the back-office software offers a huge amount of detailed information, it can feel a bit clunky at times, especially if you don’t use it often, but overall it’s a strong, dependable system that delivers where it matters most.
