Strong AI Research Tool With One Billing Frustration
Casetext’s AI features and legal search work very well for my needs as a semi-retired solo practitioner handling a limited number of appeals. The AI assistance and case citation tools are genuinely helpful and save time, especially when pulling quoted sections. Day-to-day search and copying are smooth and reliable. That said, the lack of flexibility when I accidentally selected the wrong subscription plan was disappointing, especially since the issue was raised immediately and in good faith. I also ran into some friction with the jurisdiction filter, though support did provide a workaround. Overall, the product itself is solid and powerful, even if the customer experience around billing could be more accommodating.

Fast, Reliable, and a Real Time-Saver
Our experience has been very smooth and efficient overall. CARA AI has been especially valuable, cutting down research time significantly and helping us get to relevant results much faster. While the lack of annotated entries was a small drawback at first, we found workable alternatives without much trouble. All in all, it’s been a fast, effective tool that fits well into our workflow.
