Promising Open-Source Accounting Software With Growing Potential
I appreciate this software primarily because it is open source and offers the option to pay for additional premium features when needed. When I first started using it, the platform felt unstable and several apps were limited in functionality. However, it has improved significantly over time. I began using it in late 2021 and experienced frequent issues, but now I rely on it daily with far fewer problems. Most current limitations relate to missing features, such as handling negative values or flexible tax line items. A major advantage is the ability to install it on a private server instead of relying on a public cloud, which is important for protecting sensitive financial data. Support can be inconsistent: paid apps receive timely assistance, but help for core features and third-party apps is difficult to obtain. Despite these challenges, the platform shows strong progress and long-term promise.
