About Softbook

Softbook is a cloud-based LMS platform for online schools, experts, and corporate training. A school runs its whole business on it — creating and selling courses, attracting students, and teaching them — on one platform with a single subscription.

Marketing is built into the platform itself: a landing page builder, an email editor, audience-segmented campaigns, and a visual automation builder that links form submissions, payments, and enrollments into connected scenarios. You can run webinars for your students and show them right inside the course. The built-in CRM, with funnels and deals, is tied to course enrollment, and analytics cover both sales and learning progress.

Inside there are courses of any complexity, quizzes, assignments, certificates, and a knowledge base for reference materials. Student numbers are unlimited on every plan. The platform runs in any browser on desktop and mobile, with nothing to install. You can try it free for 30 days and cancel anytime.

Makes running my courses a lot simpler

I've had a good experience with Softbook so far. I use it to keep my lessons, materials and student access organized, and most things are pretty straightforward. What I appreciate is that I don't spend much time dealing with the platform itself. If I need to add a lesson or change something in a course, I can usually do it quickly and move on. Students also seem to find their way around without much help from me. There are a few settings that took me some time to find at first, but nothing serious. Overall, Softbook has been reliable for my courses and I'm happy with it.

One of the few tools I didn't stop using

I've tried a few platforms over the years, and with most of them I usually found something that made me switch after a while. With Softbook that never really happened. It covers what I need, so I just keep using it. Most of my time goes into preparing lessons, not figuring out the platform. Adding materials, making small updates or checking the course doesn't feel like a separate task anymore. Everything is easy enough that I don't really think about it. I'm sure there are platforms with more features, but I don't feel like I'm missing anything important. For the way I work, Softbook has been a good fit.

Easy to keep courses organized

One thing I like about Softbook is that I don't have to think too much about where everything is. Lessons, files and student access are all in one place, so managing a course feels much more straightforward. I can make changes whenever I need to, and students see the updated version without any extra work from my side. That's probably what saves me the most time. I wouldn't mind having a few more customization options, but it's a small thing. Overall the platform feels reliable and easy to work with, which is really all I need.

Stopped answering the same questions over and over

Before using Softbook, I was constantly sending links, explaining where lessons were and checking whether someone could access the materials. It wasn't difficult work, just repetitive and time-consuming. After putting everything into one place, things became much easier to manage. Lessons are structured, materials are easy to update and students can usually find what they need on their own. I spend less time on small administrative tasks and more time on the actual course content. For keeping courses organized and reducing routine work, it has been a good experience.

Finally stopped keeping my lessons in random folders

Before Softbook, my course materials were scattered everywhere. PDFs in one folder, videos somewhere else, notes in documents and random links saved all over the place. After moving everything into one platform it finally started feeling like an actual course instead of a collection of files. Uploading lessons is simple, changing module order takes a few clicks and giving students access doesn’t require doing everything manually each time. That alone saves a lot of time. There are still a few places where settings could be easier to find, but overall the platform feels comfortable to use and not overloaded. For organizing lessons and keeping everything together, it works really well.

Works fine for simple online courses

Used Softbook for a small internal course. Setup didn’t take long, which was good. Uploading lessons and giving access to users was straightforward. Nothing complicated, everything is where you expect it to be. At the same time, it feels more like a basic system, not something very advanced. But for simple tasks it actually works fine. Didn’t have issues with access or loading, which is probably the most important part.

Easy to use and works without problems

Softbook is quite easy to use. It didn’t take long to understand how everything works. Uploading materials and creating lessons feels straightforward, nothing complicated. Students can access everything without problems, which is important. The platform runs stable and I didn’t notice any serious issues. It may not have a lot of advanced features, but for everyday work it does the job well.

Navigation is clean, and the interface doesn’t overwhelm with unnecessary elements. Stability is one of the strong points - courses load correctly and access control works consistently. While advanced customization options are limited compared to larger systems, for everyday educational projects Softbook delivers a balanced and reliable experience.
