Why SoftwareWorld Chooses Debian

"Businesses that run servers or manage IT infrastructure often turn to Debian because of its stability and reliability over long periods. It handles everything from web hosting to internal systems without requiring frequent updates or unexpected changes. Teams with technical staff tend to appreciate how much control it gives them over their environment. That said, businesses without dedicated IT support may find the setup process difficult, as it generally requires some technical knowledge to configure and maintain properly."

Perfect First Linux Experience

I started using Debian in 2020 as a complete beginner coming from Windows, and it turned out to be a great first Linux distro. It’s solid, reliable, and really helped me get into learning Linux. The only tricky part at first was getting used to the command line, but with practice, it became completely manageable. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for beginners.

Reliable and Powerful Linux Distro

I’ve been using Debian since the Potato version, and in my experience, it’s the best compared to other Linux distros like RedHat or CentOS. It’s stable, powerful, and perfect for both cloud-based and on-premise servers. Many other distros are even based on Debian, which says a lot about its reliability. The only downsides are that there’s no official support—just the community—and new versions sometimes come out a bit late, but overall, it’s an incredibly dependable distro.
