Nextmol is a deeptech startup specialized in computational chemistry and spin-off of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. It offers a software platform, NEXTMOL Lab, that enables the design and virtual testing of chemical compounds and formulations before physical synthesis, accelerating sustainable chemicals development by 5x while reducing development costs by 9x. It is focused on polymer and surfactant chemistries for many different applications (personal care, home care, coatings, plastic additives, functional fluids, agrichemicals). Its technology is based on state-of-the-art molecular modeling and machine learning technologies, being able to characterize large and complex chemical systems of several millions of atoms and bio-based chemistries.
